TRANSITION COURSE (no previous experience in Boeing)

COURSE OBJECTIVE
To provide licensed pilots with the required theoretical knowledge and practical flight training in order to meet the JAR-FCL Boeing 777-200 Type Rating qualification, with or without Zero Flight Time Training.

COURSE STRUCTURE
Ground School: approximately 2 weeks
a) Theoretical Instruction – 78h
b) Cockpit Procedure Training – 20h
c) Written Tests: 7h
2. Simulator Training in a simulator center in Europe: 2 weeks
a) 52h – 13 sessions
b) Proficiency Check: 1 simulator session (4h)

DURATION
Approximately 05 weeks

– Aircraft Systems Training
– General operational subjects 2. PROCEDURE TRAINING:
– Use of Checklist
– Flight Planning
– Cockpit Familiarization
– Crew Resource Management (CRM)
– Normal, Non-Normal and Emergency  Procedures
3. SIMULATOR TRAINING

PRE-REQUISITES
• Hold a Commercial pilot licence w/ATPL Frozen, MEP, IR and Multi-Crew Cooperation
or
• Hold an ATPL(A) and meet additional aircraft category and class ratings.

SHORTNESS COURSE (with previous experience in Boeing 757/767 or B737)

COURSE OBJECTIVE
To provide licensed pilots with the required theoretical knowledge and practical flight training in order to meet the JAR-FCL Boeing 777-200 Type Rating qualification, with or without Zero Flight Time Training.

COURSE STRUCTURE
1. Ground School: approximately 2 weeks
a) Theoretical Instruction – 47h
b) Cockpit Procedure Training – 12h
c) Written Tests: 7h
2. Simulator Training in a simulator center in Europe: 2 weeks
a) 32h – 8 sessions
b) Proficiency Check: 1 simulator session (4h)

Approximately 05 weeks
