TRANSITION COURSE (no previous experience in Boeing)

COURSE OBJECTIVE
To provide licensed pilots with the required theoretical knowledge and practical flight training in order to meet the JAR-FCL Boeing 757/767 Type Rating qualification.

COURSE STRUCTURE
. Ground School: approximately 3 weeks
a) Theoretical Instruction – 108h
b) Cockpit Procedure Training – 20h
c) Written Tests: 7h
2. Simulator Training in a simulator center in Europe: 12 days
a) 44h – 11 sessions
b) Proficiency Check: 1 simulator session (4h)

PRE-REQUISITES
• The applicant shall have completed at least 100 hours as Pilot-in-command of aeroplanes.
• Shall have a valid Multi-engine Instrument Rating.
• Shall have a certificate of satisfactory completion of Multi-crew co-operation (MCC). If the MCC course is to be added to the type rating course, this requirement is not applicable.
• Shall have met the requirements of JAR-FCL 1.285 (ATPL Theoretical Theory knowledge).
