COURSE OBJECTIVE

The aim of the IRI(A) Training Course is to train pilots to the level of competence adequate to na Instrument Rating Instructor of Airplanes.

  2. Flight Instruction – 5h
  3. Assessment of Competence – 01:30h

-Radio Aids

-Notions of Flight Planning

-AIP

-Flight Planning Generalities

-Instrument Rating Privileges

  1. FLIGHT INSTRUCTION:

-Instrument Flight Training

-Radio Navigation: VOR, NDB, VHF/DF, DME, SSR, RADAR

-Departure and Arrival Procedures

-Instrument Approach

 

PRE-REQUISITES

-Minimum age of 18 years.

-FI(A) qualification with 200 Instrument Flight hours, of which 50h may be simulator time.

-Successfully pass the Admission Interview and Pre-entry Flight Test.
