Multi-Crew Co-Operation Course

1. Introduction

Multi-Crew Co-operation Course
This course conforms to JAR-FCL 1 SUBPART F

2. Course Prerequisites

The applicant shall have:
  • Completed an ATP Integrated course (as per JAR-FCL 1.261 (d) (1) (i)).
  • Hold a PPL/IR or CPL/IR, should the applicant has not graduated from an ATP Integrated course (as per JAR-FCL 1.261 (d) (1) (ii)).

3. Course Objective

To provide licensed pilots with the required theoretical knowledge and practical flight training in order to meet the JAR-FCL Multi-Crew Co-Operation certificate requirements.

4. Course Structure

This course consists of:
A) Theoretical Instruction
This course comprises 25 hours of Theoretical Knowledge instruction.

B) Simulator Training
Comprises 20 hours of Simulator Training.

C) Course Examinations
Official Progress Tests are held during the whole course
The pass mark for all written tests is 80%.
For Practical Classroom Instruction or Practical Flying a result
“Standard” or above is required.

5. Aim of this course

To become proficient in Multi-Crew Co-Operation (MCC) in order to safely operate Multi-Pilot Multi-Engine aeroplanes under IFR.
