Initial Safety Training for Cabin Crew

1. Introduction

The course was design in accordance with:
  • CE Regulation nr. 859/2008 of 20th August 2008;
  • Appendix 1 to Jar Ops 1.1005
  • Portaria nr. 133/2003, of 05th February 2003

2. Course Prerequisites

The applicant shall have:
  • at least 18 years old at the date of starting the course;
  • functional knowledge of the Portuguese and English languages;
  • have medical fitness for duty;
  • education level corresponding to completion of 12 years or more of schooling.

3. Course Objective

To provide the required theoretical knowledge and practical training in order to meet INAC’s requirements for Cabin Crew duties.

4. Course Structure

This course consists of:
A) Theoretical part – 82H
B) Practical part – 12H
C) Written and practical tests and a final examination

5. Privileges granted by this course

To have the required training to apply to the Conversion and Differences course and be able to perform Cabin Crew member duties at an airline company.
