Boeing 757/767 classic (EFIS) Type Rating Training Course


IFA TRTO is offering one of the most cost effective Boeing 767 rating programmes on the market. Either you have previous jet experience or have just finished your pilot training, you will be given appropriate training and a position in the cockpit such as PIC or SIC.

The Boeing Type Rating package includes:

1. Introduction

Boeing 757/767 Type Rating Course
This course conforms to JAR-FCL 1 SUBPART F

2. Course Prerequisites

The applicant shall:
  • Have at least 100 hours as Pilot-in-command of aeroplanes (in accordance with JAR-FCL 1.250 (a) (1)).
  • Have a valid Multi-engine Instrument Rating (in accordance with JAR-FCL 1.250 (a) (2)).
  • Have a certificate of satisfactory completion of Multi-crew co-operation (MCC). If the MCC course is to be added to the type rating course, this requirement is not applicable (in accordance with JAR-FCL 1.250 (a) (3)).
  • Meet the requirements of JAR-FCL 1.285 (ATPL Theoretical Theory knowledge in accordance with JAR-FCL 1.250 (a) (4)).

3. Course Objective

To provide licensed pilots with the required theoretical knowledge and practical flight training in order to meet the JAR-FCL Boeing 757/767 Type Rating qualification.

4. Course Structure

This course consists of:
A) Theoretical Instruction
Comprises 108 hours, of which 40 hours are CPT training.

B) Simulator Training
Comprises 40 hours of Simulator Training on aeroplane type.

C) Course Examinations
Official Progress Tests are held during the whole course
The pass mark for all written tests is 80%.
For Practical Classroom Instruction or Practical Flying a result “Standard” or above is required.

5. Privileges granted by this course

The privileges of the holder of a Boeing 757/767 Type rating are to act as a pilot on Boeing 757/767 aeroplanes.
